As far as I can tell though, basically download the Mac template Shimeji, then replace the /conf/ and /img/ folders of the template with the /conf/ and /img/ folders of the Shimeji you want to use. They walk, crawl, and climb all over your screen and interact with elements on web.
Pick up a shimeji with the mouse pointer, drag them around, and drop them where you want.
Shimejis are little characters (desktop buddies or mascots) who play around in your windows of Google Chrome (web browser) or Chrome OS, while you are browsing the internet. Touch device users, explore by touch or with swipe gestures. When autocomplete results are available use up and down arrows to review and enter to select.
